I can remember seeing this clip at the time but I've never seen it since.
It was just four days after Hillsborough and AC Milan were playing Real Madrid in a European Cup semi-final at the San Siro.
As the match is going on the referee blows his whistle and the whole ground falls silent before a ripple of applause rings out.
Then, and this is the bit which will never fail to move me, the Milan supporters start singing You'll Never Walk Alone in honour of the Liverpool dead.
I'd always wanted to see it again because I think it is one of the most magnificent displays of solidarity between fans that there has ever been.
So when one of the lads on the OTK website posted a link to a youtube clip showing the footage I watched it again and it sent shivers down my spine.
If you haven't seen it, make sure you do because it is an incredible moment and if any of you are still suffering at losing the recent Champions League final to Milan this will undoubtedly take away some of that pain.
Because if we had to lose to any team I'm glad it was them for what they did to support us back in 1989.
Anyway, here's the link (you have to cut and paste it): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZrVfMRyoE0
