Plug number one: If anyone reading this has got a few bob to spare log on to www.babyemma.co.uk and give to to one of the best causes you could ever give to.
The website was set up in a bid to raise the £200,000 needed to send two-year-old Emma Clittie, from Skelmersdale, to the USA for life saving treatment after she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Emma has been through an horrendous ordeal for such a young kid and she has kept on smiling no matter what she has faced.
Her family are doing everything in their power to raise the £200,000 needed and they are currently up to £130,000 but the kind of treatment she is undergoing means they need to have the full total in place by the end of August or they will pretty much go back to square one in their efforts to have Emma cured.
The people of Liverpool and Skelmersdale have provided magnificent support and it is a great credit to them that so much money has been raised since the appeal was launched just over six months ago.
Jamie Carragher has already thrown his weight behind the appeal, donating pairs of boots signed by himself and the likes of Peter Crouch, Robbie Fowler and John Arne Riise.
But the final push is on now so if anyone can make any donation, no matter how small, it could make a massive difference to a little two-year-old with a big, big heart.
Plug number two: On a less serious matter, if you haven't seen Brick Up the Mersey Tunnels at Liverpool Royal Court yet then get your tickets fast.
I saw it twice last year and it is the best and funniest theatre production I've seen in Liverpool in a long, long time.
I'm made up Brick Up has been given a second run because it sold out in double quick time last year before loads of people had had a chance to see it.
But it's back on now and tickets are being snapped up like mad again. So if you're thinking about it, get your tickets boxed off. I promise you won't regret it and if you do just come on here and give me a load of stick for putting you on a bum steer.
I don't think I'll be getting many complaints though. Unless you're from the wrong side of the Mersey Tunnel..........
