All the controversy over Jamie Carragher has led to loads of Reds going on Talksport telling the Southern presenters that they don't give a monkeys about England.
Superb.
The Cockneys really don't get it either.

Seriously, do any Liverpool fans from Liverpool support the national team?

I am really not interested in england, as a liverpool fan the only thing the national team has to offer to me is injuries to our players. The majority of people i know couldnt care less. Fair enough we all watch the world cup and the euro championships, but we dont start painting our faces with the cross of saint george and crying when they get beat. The team selection for England is rife with politics, is beckham the best right sided midfielder in the country (ask arron lennon)? This only serves to alienate people who know football, scousers.

En-Ger-Land is a nation apart. I cannot and will not bring myself to cheer on Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville and I would not expect any real Manc to get behind Carragher....unless he was on a cliff edge.
En-Ger-Land is for Burton Albion fans who feel they need to remind people they are from England by sticking England flags on their cars and waxing lyrical about St George*.
*fair play, he did kill Dragons.
